B'rock 20 years!!!
A birthday celebration to crown, featuring Water Music, Handel's soundtrack to a royal Thames cruise, his Music for the Royal Fireworks, with which King George II added extra splendour to the Treaty of Aachen in 1749, and the famous Arrival of the Queen of Sheba from Solomon.
Special guest soprano Jeanine De Bique fits perfectly into our royal story: she embodies Cleopatra, the love goddess Venus, the mighty Minerva, and the elf queen Titania in sparkling music by Handel, Purcell, Rameau, Zelenka and others.
